Dr Sharon Banks completed her master’s degree at the prestigious British School of Osteopathy (now known as University College of Osteopathy) in Central London in 2014. Twin Rivers Osteopathy in July 2023.
Sharon is also qualified in medical (dry needling) acupuncture, Sport Therapy and Clinical Pilates Instructor.
Sharon has always had an interest in medical sciences and passionate about the human body. “I was drawn to osteopathy because of its patient-centred, whole-body approach, and how it can benefit people of all ages in so many different ways. Each treatment is specific to the individual and many physical, environmental and emotional factors are taken into consideration in order to provide an accurate diagnosis and effective treatment plan.”
When Sharon retired as a ballet dancer she travelled around Europe for a few years and had the opportunity to work the in the Red Sea resort of Dahab where she lived for 7 years teaching scuba diving and furthermore operated a sport therapy practice treating a variety of athletes from windsurfers, scuba divers and yoga individuals. Whilst in Dahab, Sharon gained her Advanced Trimix diving certification and dived to 100m in the world-famous Blue Hole. In her spare time Sharon practices pilates, outdoor exploration, scuba diving, paddle boarding and in winter enjoys snow skiing
Themedia Meyer is currently studying Allied Health Assistance, with a strong interest in supporting client wellbeing through compassionate, person-centered care. Originally from South Africa, Themedia brings a diverse background and a strong appreciation for communication, creativity, and service into her healthcare journey.
Prior to transitioning into allied health, Themedia worked as a teacher in South Africa for two years while simultaneously studying towards a degree in Chartered Accountancy. This experience strengthened her organisational skills, professionalism, and ability to manage complex responsibilities, while also reinforcing her passion for working with and supporting others.
Alongside her studies, Themedia has a lifelong love of reading and the arts, particularly arts and crafts, which has shaped her creative thinking and attention to detail. Her strong communication skills are further reflected in her achievements at an international level, where she competed in debate, speech, and stage performance. These experiences fostered confidence, adaptability, and the ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
Themedia is motivated by a desire to work in a collaborative healthcare environment and is committed to ongoing learning and personal development within the allied health sector. She values empathy, clear communication, and holistic support, and aims to contribute positively to the wellbeing and independence of those she works with.

Originally from Taiwan, Amber combines her background in meridian-based massage with extensive hands-on experience gained in Australia. She offers a balanced and client centred
approach to every treatment, and has worked with a wide range of clients over the years, developing strong practical experience in helping to manage muscular tension, physical fatigue, postural strain, and stress related
discomfort.
Amber tailors each treatment to the client’s body on the day and their individual needs. Rather than following a fixed routine, she adapts her techniques to suit how the body is presenting, combining therapeutic methods
with a calm and intuitive touch to support both effective treatment and deep relaxation. She is known for her professional, consistent, and caring style, and for creating a calm and supportive treatment environment.
Moment Space Wellness Massage is a locally owned wellness practice built on the principles of professionalism, relaxation, and mind-body balance. It was created from Amber’s vision to offer clients a safe and welcoming space to slow down, release stress, and reconnect with their bodies.
